Squadhelp Review – The Fastest Way to Get Creative & Name…(well anything!)
Welcome to our whistle-stop tour of Squadhelp! The internet has several avenues that creatives can exploit to make some money. If you are creative enough and can help companies develop their businesses’ names or create new logos, you should consider signing up with Squadhelp.
What is Squadhelp?
This site was founded in 2011, which is close to a decade ago, and has, over time, managed to build a name for itself. It is a crowdsourcing platform for business owners, who regularly post a contest for the thousands of freelancers. Provided that you are a member of the site, you can pick any contest and work on it. The business owner will then pick a winner, who will later be handsomely rewarded by the owner.
How to sign up for Squadhelp
Joining this site is quite easy. You only need to provide your name and create a password to be a member. If you are active on Facebook, you can join via the platform or even sign up through google. Once you have signed up, you will be redirected to another page to find two options.
For business owners, you will sign up on the platform in search of the right name. You need to pay a membership fee, which comes in four membership plans. Therefore, depending on what you want, you can settle on the Bronze package, which will only cost you $199. It is also the cheapest. You can also settle on Gold, which goes for $399. With this, you will enjoy more privacy and trademark support. The Platinum plan costs $699. It offers members a chance to work with the top creatives and test their favorite names.
Lastly, you can choose the Managed Plan, which costs a whopping $999. You will enjoy an agency experience without going through the pain and expenses. You must select the type of contest you would like to launch and break it down further for the thousands of creatives.
What is Squadhelp.com like?
The website is excellent. You can see the tasks described, how much the contests pay, the number of entries, and the contest’s deadline. You can easily navigate and explore many features thanks to the excellent user dashboard.
How to make money with Squadhelp
Once you have signed up with this platform, you will get two options. You can either participate in naming contests or logos and design contests. Once you pick the option that you like, you will be redirected to the dashboard. Keep in mind that there are several naming contests that you can take part in once you join the site. You can either settle for a company name, website name, slogans, and other related projects. This is the right platform in case you are interested in coming up with such things.
These contests are updated day in day out, and therefore, you will never run out of something to work on. You will see the number of people who have taken up the contest, the deadline, and the entire task. It is also worth noting that you are barred from accessing other contests once you take up a project. At the start, you will only be eligible for a few contests. However, as you take up other projects, you will easily access all the contests.
You should also know about percentile ranking, which is a score given based on your past performances. You are allowed to make many entries, depending on how you score. The higher your score, the higher the winning potential. Apart from the naming contest, there is the logo and design contest that best serves designers. This is similar to the naming contest. However, you need to understand that you will not be instantly allowed to access the logo and design contest.
To be eligible, you have to send some of your previous designs to be approved by Squadhelp. This contest best serves designers who have experience and have come up with a few logos. Lastly, this site allows you to earn some money by referring others. You will earn $30 for any customer who launches a contest, $35 if the customer purchases a domain, and points if the customer creates an account.
How much can you earn with Squadhelp?
You should know a site’s earning potential before choosing to be a member. Well, there is no earning guarantee when it comes to Squadhelp. You have to win the contest to get some money. Your earning potential depends on the quality of your submission and whether the owner of the contest approves your work or not.
Unfortunately, you can participate in several contests without winning even one. Keep in mind that you will be competing with other creatives, and therefore, you can never be sure that you will win. If you are looking for easy money, this is not the right platform. You will earn $100-300 per contest or even more.
How do you get paid?
You are instantly paid when you win a contest. The amount will be credited to your Squadhelp account automatically. After that, you can withdraw your money via PayPal or Payoneer. Therefore, ensure that you have a verified PayPal account when registering with the site.
Payouts take a week to be processed. However, if you have won more than five contests, you will receive your money in 1-3 business days.
Any joining requirements?
If you are a US resident, you will have to submit your W9 form to the company. If you live outside the US, a W8-BEN form will be required.
